Closing in on Vertress City, Ash and his friends find out that the road is blocked by rocks. Trying to climb them, Ash and Iris is sent plummeting down from the mountains, but soon get rescued by a guy and his Eevee Squad. Introducing himself as Vergil, he tells them that he is a member of the Pokémon Rescue Squad, a troupe of Pokémon Trainers that help Officer Jenny keep peace in the region. Soon trouble arrives in the form of an emergency at a nearby dam.
