'Pokemon the Movie XY: Ring no Chamajin Hoopa' rolling out July

Nintendo's Pokemon franchise continues to live strong.

The Pokemon Company, which handles Nintendo's Pokemon franchise, is rolling out anew animated film for the franchise. This film is titled Pokemon the Movie XY: Ring no Chomajin Hoopa and it will hit theaters across Japan on July 18th.

This movie has a Middle Eastern theme as the trailer shows.

Some phenomenon takes place and causes all of the legendary Pokemon to appear and it is up to Hoopa, the new Pokemon, to do something. The movie features other legendary Pokemon such as Arceus, Latias, Giratina, and more.

Pokemon the Movie XY: Ring no Chomajin Hoopa also stars the cast of Pokemon XY.

This is the follow-up to Pokemon the Movie: Dianci and the Cocoon of Destruction, which released in 2014.

It is unknown when Pokemon the Movie XY: Ring no Chomajin Hoopa will receive an international release let alone a North American or UK release. Pokemonfans should keep an eye on further news on the new movie.

The movie also contains the Pikachu to Pokemon Ongakutai, which stars Pikachu.

You should know Pikachu as being the official mascot of the popular Pokemonseries. He is the companion Pokemon to Ash Ketchum, Satoshi in the Japanese version, the main hero of the Pokemon franchise.

Ash is the iconic hero and Pikachu is the iconic mascot to Pokemon.

Holofoil

Holofoil, short for holographic foil, is another word for "shiny" when used to refer to trading cards or comic book covers.

Holofoils in trading cards are often seen 'bent'; when put on a flat surface, instead of lying flat, they will bulge in the middle. This is due to the cardboard side absorbing more moisture than the foil side in humid conditions. It can be prevented by using card sleeves.

Pokemon ORAS Eon Ticket Distribution

As we informed you a few days ago, Nintendo has been planning to perform a wireless distribution of a free code that will gift players of Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphirewith an Eon Ticket; it's an item that will enable trainers to visit the Southern Island and catch either Latios or Latias, depending on which version is owned. The Eon Ticket was initially delivered to a few select players by Junichi Masuda - the Pokémon series producer - with the idea being that it'd spread as it was duplicated and passed along to new players via StreetPass. As it would happen, not everybody lives in highly populated areas and some were left out.

For those of you who still haven't received it, Nintendo is bailing you out. North American players need only to enter the code "2015LATIOSLATIAS" under the mystery gift tab to have the fabled ticket bestowed upon them. For Europeans, the code is "POKEMON380381". Obviously, an internet connection is required to receive this, but hopefully this should ensure that just about everybody gets an Eon Ticket. Do be quick about it, though, as the event's over on Monday!
